I am a Chinese passport holder living in Italy, I want to visit Indonesia this August (from end of August till 18 September), I want to know whether I need to have a visa to enter and where I have to apply for Visa? Is there any limited airport for me to enter? I wait for your kindly reply.
Thank you in advance!
Yihong K
Dear Sir/Madam (Yihong),
Given your stated duration of stay (end of August 2010 – 18 September 2010), and as a citizen of China, you are entitled to a Visa-on-Arrival. You may apply for admission into Indonesian territory upon your arrival at an Indonesian airport. Assuming that you will fly into Indonesia and pass through a major airport in Indonesia, there should not be a problem acquiring a Visa-on-Arrival as long as you meet the requirements as stated in the Visa-on-Arrival section of our website. You may obtain more information on Visa-on-Arrival in our website.
Have a great time in Indonesia.

Dear (nermesa@gmail.com),
As an American citizen (and assuming you will be travelling with your American passport), you are entitled to a Visa-on-Arrival. You may apply for Visa-on-Arrival at an Indonesian international airport once you arrived from Italy. You do not need ticket information on the Vietnam portion of your trip to apply for an Indonesian Visa-on-Arrival. Have a great trip and a joyful stay in Jakarta (and Indonesia).
