Indonesian govt to sign at least 9 oil, gas contracts

Jakarta. The Indonesian government will sign at least nine contracts of work, which consist of four oil and gas, and five coal bed methane/CBM contracts, here on Monday.

In the signing of the contracts which will be attended by Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Darwin Zahedy, the government will be represented by the Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BP Migas).

The oil blocks whose contracts would be signed are Blok Sula I, Blora Block, North Makassar Strait Block and Langgak Block. While the CBM contracts included Block Barito, Muara Enim Block and Batang Asin Block.
