Indonesia economy predicted to keep growing until 2011
Bank Indonesia predicts Indonesia`s economy will grow 5.5 to 6.0 percent in 2010 and continue to grow 6.0 to 6.5 percent in 2011. While domestic demand remains strong growth will be driven particularly by external factors in line with global economic recovery as seen from increasing exports since the fourth quarter last year.
Vice President opens Agrinex International Expo 2010
Vice President Boediono on Friday morning opened Agrinex International Exhibition 2010 at the Jakarta Convention Center. Several other countries are also taking part like Poland, Turki, Italy, China, Malaysia and Singapore. By this event they wish to point out that the great agribusiness potential can support the national economic development.
Q1 economic growth expected to reach over 5 percent
The first Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that although the figure was still an estimate, the government was optimistic that the country`s economic growth could reach 5-5,5 percent in the first quarter of this year.
