Maluku Energi, PT Impeks to exploit gas from Marsela block

PT. Maluku Energi in association with Japanese oil company PT. Impeks will conduct natural oil and gas exploitations in the Marsela block on the border region between West Southeast Maluku and Southwest Maluku districts.The Japanese company has secured a green light from the Indonesian government to manage the oil and gas in the Marsela block on a commercial basis.

EU Council endorses establishment of human rights dialogue with RI

The Council recognises the importance of strengthening the existing
relationship between the EU and Indonesia, with a view to enhancing cooperation. It welcomes the common will to consolidate, deepen and diversify relations in the area of human rights.

President to communicate with British PM on climate change conference

President Yudhoyono had been following developments and negotiations in the runup to the climate change conference to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, next December.
